Our Story
By Bailey Art was officially born in 2023, during a time when I felt an incredible disconnect to my corporate job and the world around me. My outlet to cope with my stress and severe anxiety became focusing on my art. After rough days at work, I could not wait to log off and paint. By Bailey Art initially was inspired by my move from West Coast to East Coast, adapting to my life in New York, and finding appreciation for the world around us through vivid color.
Owner and Artist Bailey Stevenson is a painter and multimedia artist currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. Bailey is a self-taught artist and began practicing art in some form ever since she can remember; starting from pencil drawings of childhood pets and TV characters. Now, Bailey strives to continue letting her inner shy art child shine, through the use of color and whimsy.
"I believe that the best things in life should be celebrated through highly saturated color and art.
My works blend my life experiences living in vastly different states by using color as the common denominator. The common theme that I am attracted back to, regardless of the place I currently reside, is the food, landscapes, and animals that make up my core memories living in Texas, San Francisco, California, and now Brooklyn, New York."
